... The presentation here is excellent, with very clear printing on high-quality paper, and the fingering (by Fabio Rizza) is sensible and not too intrusive. Fantaisie is perhaps not in the same league as some of the aforementioned composers’ works, but it is a solid and satisfying composition for the advanced player to consider for the concert platform as a choice for an "unknown" work from this period.
