His works, some of which were specifically commissioned, have been included in the programs of important chamber and symphonic concert seasons in Italy and abroad (France, Germany, Japan, etc.), in festivals such as Antidogma musica in Turin, G.A.M.O. in Florence, S.I.M.C. in Bergamo, Festival della Valle d’Itria, Fermo Festival, Spaziomusica in Cagliari, Nuova Consonanza of Rome. As part of the program “Compositori contemporanei”, Rai-Filodiffusione dedicated a “portrait” to him, including the broadcasting of his music.
Along with his work as a composer and teacher, he carries on musicology research, editing unpublished music, work that he intensified after having attending the Applied Musical Philology Course in 1991-93 directed by Alberto Zedda at the Accademia d’Arte Lirica di Osimo.
Former member of the Associazione Compositori Liguri, he is now a member of the Associazione Nuova Consonanza di Roma. He was Professor of Complementary harmony and, later, of Harmony and Counterpoint at the “S. Giacomantonio” Conservatory in Cosenza (Italy), and since 1990 he has been Professor of Harmony and Counterpoint at the “G.B. Pergolesi” Conservatory in Fermo (Italy).
