Luigi Del Prete graduated at the Conservatory of Music “D. Cimarosa” of Avellino in Organ and Organ Composition (with Anna Favarolo) and in Composition, having studied with Gaetano Panariello and Vincenzo Palermo. Later on he got the Choral Music and Conducting Diploma at the Conservatory of Music “S. Pietro a Majella” in Naples. He is Deputy Director of the Cappella Musicale Lauretana of the Aversa Cathedral (Caserta). He is also Piano Accompanist and Assistant to the Director of the Children’s Choir of the San Carlo Theatre in Naples.
Winner of several Composition competitions, he has published some of his works with various Italian publishing houses.
