Daniele Faziani began studying saxophone when he was fifteen, and graduated with honors at the Conservatory “G.B. Martini” in Bologna in 1982.
In the same period he started a partnership with the Teatro Comunale of Bologna as first saxophone for symphonic and operatic productions, and with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the same theater.
Since 1996 he has been conductor and soprano sax of the “Quartetto di saxofoni 900”, with whom he has given many concerts in Italy.
He also works as a composer, arranger and conductor of orchestras and woodwind groups, and drummer.
He teaches saxophone at the Conservatory “G.B. Martini” in Bologna, and gives master classes in Italy and abroad.
