This new Urtext edition is very welcome with its greater clarity of layout than in previous versions. The individual parts provided for both instruments, along with a score, have appropriate page-turns, and the ornaments are more consistent. The only editorial changes are in the modernised note-groupings ... a user-friendly edition with nice touches, like the encouragingly generous spacing of the rapid notes in the Andante as well as the guitar cue in the flute part at the beginning of the movement.
