I was delighted to see this fine edition of one of my favourite baroque sonatas; one that I have played often. Ut Orpheus always endeavours to provide a clear text without excessive markings and superfluous additional signs. If considered necessary, they are indicated in small type or within brackets. The result is a clean unfettered score. ... With separate violin, basso and continuo parts, a fascinating description of the sonata's genesis completes this most desirable publication.
