The little Clarinetist proposes brief exercises, original compositions, pieces from classic and international folk repertory transcribed and elaborated by author for clarinet and small instrumental groups.
Furthermore, this book suggests some collective exploration and improvisation activities with the aim to stimulate the pupil to use the sounds acquired in a creative way and to look for new sounds.
The material is presented gradually, following a precise didactic path, while also respecting the rhythms and ways of learning of each child.
The book can be used for at least 3 years if the student begins his or her studies at the age of 7 or 8, but the repertory offered is also suitable for the young budding clarinetist.
