Paolo Ugoletti, Brescian composer, began his musical studies in his home town with Giancarlo Facchinetti and Giovanni Ugolini, and later studied at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Milan with Giacomo Manzoni. From 1977 to 1979 he attended the specialization courses held by Franco Donatoni at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena.
He currently teaches Composition at the “Luca Marenzio” Conservatory of Brescia.
His extensive output ranges from various pieces for solo instruments to concertos, chamber music and symphonic works. The guitar and piano are present in nearly all his compositions.
