Florent Aillaud (*1993)
Florent Aillaud was born in France in 1993. He started learning guitar at the Conservatoire de Toulon-Provence-Méditerranée with Frédéric Ferraro, Alain Romagnoli, Raymond Gratien and Philippe Azoulay. He continued his postgraduate studies in guitar, pedagogy and musicology at Pôle Supérieur 93 with Judicaël Perroy, at University of Paris VIII and then at Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.
He regularly performs in concert in France and abroad, both solo and in chamber music with Duo MFA that he founded with his wife Margot Aillaud. Their last album Les guitares bien tempérées, released in 2020, presents their own transcriptions of works originally composed for keyboard:
J.S. Bach, J.P. Rameau, György Ligeti, Philip Glass...
He is laureate and finalist of several international guitar, chamber music and Composition competitions: FNAPEC, Léopold Bellan, Nordhorn, Paris Guitar Foundation, Roland Dyens, Eppelborn, Michele Pittaluga.
He teaches guitar at Conservatoire de Musique et de Danse de Ville d’Avray - Chaville (Grand Paris Seine Ouest).
