Homage to Luigi Dallapiccola (presentation)

Bergamo, 9 October 2021

Piero Bonaguri, editor of the volume Homage to Luigi Dallapiccola. Anthology of Contemporary Music for Guitar, published by Ut Orpheus, will present the work and perform works included in the collection as part of his concert at the Sala Fellegara of the Gaetano Donizetti Conservatory in Bergamo (via don Luigi Palazzolo 88) Saturday 9 October, h. 16:00, free admission subject to availability.

The eight pieces published in this volume (composed by Pieralberto Cattaneo, Dario Cebic, Francesca Gambelli, Daniele Mandonico, Marco Reghezza, Marco Simoni, Alessandro Spazzoli and Andrea Vezzoli) were born in the short span of a few months, between the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021, also thanks to the interest shown in this project by Mario Ruffini, an excellent scholar of Dallapiccola (to whom he has dedicated important volumes) and president of the Centro Studi Luigi Dallapiccola.
