Mondomusica 2006

Ut Orpheus Edizioni will exhibit at the 2006 edition of Mondomusica, which will be held in Cremona from 6 to 8 October.
Mondomusica today ranks as the worlds premier annual fair in the high-end artisan-made musical instrument sector, a position that will be further consolidated this year due to a series of parallel events of international importance that will involve the participation of top-level musicians and thousands of visitors and lovers of great classical music. The coming edition of Mondomusica presents numerous innovations both in terms of dimension and content. Exhibition space is set to rise by 20% resulting in the Exhibition being held in Pavilion 2 the largest of the CremonaFiere facilities. This stems from a constant promotion drive that the Exhibition has conducted in recent years, especially on foreign markets, aimed at creating an international event that brings together professional operators from all over the world. The figures for the last edition speak for themselves: 49% of the 249 exhibitors and 25% of the 7,500 visitors came from abroad. These figures are forecast to be exceeded this year, in part due to the inclusion of a programme of extremely high-level events: - Triennial International Bow Instrument Competition from 27 September to 15 October - Historical retrospective The Dna of the Amati from 30 September to 15 October - Concert featuring prize-winning instruments from the Triennial Competition - 5 October, Teatro Ponchielli - Exhibition of the instruments participating in the Triennial Competition - from 6 to 15 October. As every year, Mondomusica will host a series of collateral internationally important events within the trade fair district including a guitar master class and events devoted to the harpsichord.
