Claudio Bonometti (*1979)

Claudio Bonometti was trained at the “Luca Marenzio” Conservatory in Brescia where he graduated in Piano with Adele Arnò and subsequently with the highest score in Composition with Paolo Ugoletti, studying also with Giancarlo Facchinetti.
Esteemed contemporary music player, he has co-operated with Giancarlo Facchinetti, Federico Troncatti and Paolo Ugoletti recording a collection of Lieder for soprano and piano while in 2011 he has recorded a CD with the saxophonist Guido Consoli with unpublished pieces for saxophone, soprano and piano. He has also composed pieces for piano, choir and ensemble. With his score Tre pezzi per orchestra, he has won the 2009 edition of the Concorso di Composizione of “Luca Marenzio” Conservatory (Brescia), his piece Lux has been pointed out at the 6th edition of the Concorso Internazionale di Composizione “Camillo Togni”, while in November 2013 with Dall’Abisso he has won the 1st price of the Concorso Internazionale di Musica Sacra “David Maria Turoldo”.
Nowadays he is teacher at the Scuola Diocesana di Musica in Brescia and Artistic director of the “Accademia dei Suoni” in Rodengo Saiano (Brescia).
