With attractive music lying within a comfortable range and well written for the voice, there is something for everyone here - short pieces such as the Sanctus and Agnus Dei that can be used liturgically, arias that can be sung in concert performance, and dramatc choruses that should be within the scope of most amateur choral societies. For the choral conductor wishing to expand a choir’s repertoire, this work could prove to be very suitable. (Ursula Brett)
