Product detailsGuitarist and composer, Giorgio Mirto graduated from the “L. Campiani” Conservatory of Mantova and took the second level degree from the Conservatory of Cuneo. For a long time he has performed extensively in Europe, Russia, Japan, China, Africa, U.S.A. and Argentina, as a soloist or in duo with Victor Villadangos. In the past he has realized eight recordings for Gendai Guitar and Moisycos Musical Editions (Tokyo), Sinfonica Editions, GuitArt and, recently, for the major Brilliant Classics.
As a composer he has been awarded in several International Competitions and his music is performed in Europe, Argentina, USA, Russia and has raised the appreciation of musicians and musicologists such as Altenberg Trio, Victor Villadangos, Maximo Diego Pujol, Eric Franceries, Ganesh Del Vescovo, Vivaldi Guitar Trio, Faurè String Trio, Massimo Delle Cese, Attilio Piovano, Viktor Kozlov, Giulio Tampalini, Stefano Palamidessi, Dylan Fowler, Trio Rhapsody, Magdalena Kaltcheva, Trio Broz , Kazuhito Yamashita.
He is the artistic director of Six Ways, a prestigious international guitar festival which takes place in his native town (Turin).
Actually he teaches in the Conservatorio “L. Marenzio” of Brescia.
